Client Galleries: Running a Sales Session

Prepare a gallery and open the authenticated workspace used during an in-person client session.

Create the client gallery, assign the correct pricelist and optional order terms, add images, and set a cover.  Check the order of the images. Manually rearrange the order of the images to start and close the slideshow with your strongest images.

Select light or dark mode for your viewing session

LightDarkMode

Before the client arrives do a test run of the slideshow to ensure everything runs smoothly and the volume is on etc.

Doing a test run also ensures the music is not buffered and ready to play without a delay.

Client Galleries are not public self-service portals. Do not send the gallery URL as a link to a client. It will send them to the homepage of ipssession.com

Kicking off the session

You have two options:

  1. have the screen open on the galleries page. Any client galleries will be visible. Open the gallery and start the slideshow.
  2. Select the full screen option and play the slideshow directly from here. It will use the images from the default gallery you specified when you set up the client gallery.

Selecting the images

The next step is for the client to select their favourite images. There are several ways of doing so.

  1. From the grid of images. As you hover over an image you have the option to mark it Yes, Maybe, No. The image is then moved immediately to the tab you selected.
  2. Alternatively use keyboard shortcuts: 1 = Yes, 2 = Maybe, 3 = No
  3. Click on an image to display it full screen. At the bottom you'll find the image controls where you can select Yes, No, Maybe. You can also display an image as Black & White, add it to a Room View or compare with  other images or add it directly to the shopping cart.
  4. Select Multiple images using Ctrl+click or by clicking on the little selector circle on the top right of the thumbnail.
  5. Use Shift+click to select a range of images
  6. If you have multiple images selected you have the option to compare them.GridControl
  7. To clear the selection select Clear
  8. Any images that have been added to the shopping cart will display a little shopping cart icon on the left.
  9.  The Ordered Images button is actually a toggle switch. Click it once and it will display any ordered images, click it again and it will show all images that have not been ordered. click it again and it will show All images
