Installing the desktop app

If this is your first time in ips-session, head to the Admin page. You will get the following pop-up prompting you to install the ips-session desktop app.

Once it is installed the browser window will most likely close automatically. This is dependent on each browser and version. You can open ips-session again in a new browser window afterwards.

If you decide to install the ips-session desktop app at a later stage or if you have installed and uninstalled it, you can always come back to the Admin section and install it again.

Install the Desktop version of ips-session.

Click it and install the app. If nothing happens take a look at the top right of your browser bar. 

This may vary depending on the browser you are using.

Once the desktop app is open pin it to your taskbar at the bottom of the screen.

Now you can access the app without having to open the browser which makes for a cleaner user experience, especially when you have clients in the studio and you don't want them to see your browser window.

The desktop app still uses the browser and requires internet access.

Next step is to navigate to your Admin Workspace where you will set up your studio details, pricelists, currency and tax, terms and conditions. Here you can also create custom room views and collages.
